Dear HMA member:
We are writing today to share some important organizational news with you.
Jenny Cauhorn, our executive director, has submitted her resignation effective April 15, 2020. We wish her well as she takes on an exciting new career opportunity.
We are happy to report that following her official resignation, she has agreed to remain as a transition consultant with HMA until October. This arrangement allows her to complete the planning and execution of National Seminar in Orlando and to attend the event. It also enables her to further prepare the organization for smooth leadership change.
As part of the transitional period, the board will soon appoint an interim executive director. We will keep membership apprised of that appointment and when we have news to report, we will share it thoroughly. That appointee will stay on until a long-term staffing leadership plan is developed and implemented.
The excellent staff, currently in place, will carry on the activities through this transition and into the next chapter of our exciting future.
Change is hard; but it is also invigorating. If you have questions, please contact us at [email protected]. We thank Jenny for more than twelve years of service to HMA and wish her all the best in her new endeavor.
Sincerely,
Pamela (P.L) Grove
