In a combined concert, Bells of the Cascades and Pikes Peaks Ringers host the groundbreaking world premiere of a new work in their upcoming concerts.
Composed by BOC’s very own director Matthew Compton, “When All Else Fails” is a full-scale suite featuring handbells, voice, string quartet piano, percussion, and woodwinds. Each movement is based on a poem, quote, text, or phrase exemplifying a value that gets us through hard times (such as friendship, love, hope, peace, and more).
This concert also features not one but two top-performing handbell ensembles, the Pacific Northwest’s Bells of the Cascades and Colorado’s Pikes Peak Ringers, in conjunction with other local musicians and singers.
