The Fall Ringing Round-up is designed to engage the advanced beginner to intermediate ringer to refresh skills after the summer break and improve their technical skill level. More advanced ringers are welcome and may challenge themselves by opting to play at a position they don’t typically play.
The event begins with a Friday evening meet ‘n’ greet, and workshop, followed by all-day massed ringing on Saturday. Area 10 provides all the equipment and music. No hauling stuff. No studying music beforehand. One of the skills exercised is sight-reading. The event ends with an informal recital for friends and family.
The Fall Ringing Round-up is being held in 7 different locations throughout Area 10, all in the month of September. The goal is to bring the event to the ringers, trying to space the locations so ringers will have a maximum 3 hour drive. Attendance is limited to 50 as the events are being held in church fellowship halls.
