College Ring-in will be held January 3-5, 2025, under the direction of conductor, Kathryn Jurado. This performance-focused event, designed for college-age and recent alumni handbell musicians ages 18-29, will be held at First United Methodist Church in Lakeland, FL. Participation is limited to 26 ringers, and early registration is encouraged. Participants will meet for three days to rehearse music they have prepared in advance, perform during the church’s Sunday services on January 5, and also perform a concert for the public at 3:00PM, which will be live-streamed. Registration is $115 for HMA members and $140 for non-members (includes a one-year student membership). Registration includes lunch each day and a College Ring-in shirt. Accommodations are not included in the fee. However, a list of area hotels at a variety of price points will be provided.
