All are invited to our annual Handbell Christmas Concert and also to learn about ERICA, a local organization that welcomes those fleeing injustice, persecution, and poverty in other countries. In October, Maestro Lochte had the opportunity to meet a family from Afghanistan and to share with them Charm City Bronze’s handbells, handchimes, and other percussion instruments. The experience of shared music-making was a powerful reminder of the universal music within us. If you are interested in learning more about ERICA or supporting their mission, there will be a table set up at our concert with additional information for those who want to help.
