National Election 2023
The national election will take place February 15 – March 15, 2023, to determine those who will join president-elect Greig Ashurst (who becomes president on October 1), and at-large members Tracey Bowers and Gillian Erlenborn.
Voting will again be handled through an online ballot system managed by NEON/Z2 Systems, the database system that maintains our membership, event registration, etc. The secure system verifies membership, ensures only one vote per member, and locks out back-end ballot access by anyone (including staff and system administrators) during the voting period, preventing any tampering with election results.

Follow the links in the menu at the right, and you will find the slate of candidates for your national board as well as instructions on the voting procedure. Please take time to read these pages so that you are able to make an informed decision on who will determine the vision and goals for your organization in the coming years.
Each candidate was asked to submit a biographical sketch as well as answers to specific questions:
- What past work experience(s), education and/or leadership position(s) have you had that you would bring to the National Board?
- How do you view the present status of HMA and what are your thoughts for the future?
- Why do you want to be a member of the National Board and, if elected, how do you see your role on the board?
