National Office Going Virtual

|

As announced in the May/June issue of Overtones, the national office is in the process of becoming a completely virtual operation. Here are a few details about the change and what it means for Handbell Musicians of America.

  • The staff currently working in the national office in Dayton, Ohio, will begin working from home on or around August 1. Most of our staff is already working “virtually” from home, including executive director Jennifer Cauhorn, business manager Shelly Horn, publications director J.R. Smith, music editor John Behnke, and all of our regional membership coordinators; Jon Snyder, Ellie Hodder, and Mary Willadsen.
  • The office building we currently own will be put on the market for sale in mid-August.
  • Files and historical items currently housed at the physical office will be converted to digital files or moved to a storage unit in Cincinnati near the home of executive director, Jennifer Cauhorn.
  • Phone calls to the national office phone number (937-438-0085) will continue to be answered by staff as they always have been.
  • The toll-free 800 number is no longer in service.
  • All payments for membership dues, contributions, and other invoices should be sent to our lockbox for handling. That address is Handbell Musicians of America, PO Box 145400, Mail Location 521, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
  • Beginning August 1, all other correspondence should be sent to Handbell Musicians of America, 201 E. 5th Street, Suite 1900-1025, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
  • Staff will continue to be available to assist members via email and phone and will work with each other through these methods as well as video web conferencing and regular face-to-face meetings in the Cincinnati area.

If you have any questions about these changes, feel free to contact anyone on the national staff for assistance.
